Pardesh Congress Committee on Wednesday held a protest demonstration at Jammu accusing the central government of failing to keep check on soaring fuel prices across the country.
According to the news agency, Congress workers took out a protest rally and staged a sit in against rise in fuel prices.

The protest was led by former minister Raman Bhalla, party chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma and other party leaders, who raised slogans against the union government.

They said that BJP led government at Delhi has failed to check the rise of fuel prices and people are left at God’s mercy.

"Fuel price hike is directly related to life of every common man and people are suffering badly,” they said
